The Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Childhood Education first started in Italy by Loris Malaguzzi after the Second World War. Malaguzzi created a program that supports children’s creative development and follows the children’s interests. This is also known as Emergent Curriculum because the lessons emerge out of what the children find engaging.
At Little Koala, we do Project Work with the children as part of our Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
