Sensorial is one of the five main areas of the Montessori classroom. This course explores the types of materials and activities that can be used to help a child refine one of their five senses: touch, sight, smell, taste, or hearing. Upon completion of the course, the learner will understand how to direct children to clarify, classify, and understand the world around them.
Our self-directed course will be presented through videos and readings with required assignments to assess the learner’s understanding of the course material. The learner will have two months to complete the course at his/her own pace and receive a certificate of completion issued by Canadian Southwestern College.
