My credentials are a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Taiwan Open University, an Early Childhood Educator certificate from British Columbia and AMS Montessori Early Childhood Credential. In addition, I have been a teacher and an ESL instructor for more than 30 years. My first job after graduating was at Sesame Street English Kindergartens. I later managed and owned a number of English training centres in Taiwan and China and taught students of all ages. My work with young learners is what inspired me to study the Montessori methodology and philosophy.

I believe in guiding children to concentration and supporting their holistic development. As Maria Montessori said “the goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn”. It is my privilege to serve the children and families of Little Koala. As a manager, my door is always open.
